Commencement Overview

Page history last edited by Casey Bushman 5 years, 7 months ago

The university holds a campus-wide commencement ceremony at the end of the spring semester. Each college and school also holds a commencement ceremony in the spring to celebrate students that graduated that academic year. Many colleges and schools also hold graduation exercises in the fall; Liberal Arts does not. Fall graduates should plan to attend the spring ceremony after the graduate and summer graduates the spring ceremony before. Students should consult with their academic advisor early in the semester of graduation for information about commencement activities and procedures.

In spring the college hosts several ceremonies, including those for the larger majors and a combined ceremony for smaller majors. In the fall the college has a single, combined ceremony.
