Many scholarship and fellowship opportunities are available to students in the College of Liberal Arts. General information about these scholarships can be obtained in the Liberal Arts Scholarships and International Programs Office in GEB 2.200, 475-7586. In addition, scholarships are available through external sources (local and national organizations, foundations, etc.). Information about these resources can be found at TexasScholarships.org.

 

Information on most awards listed below can be found on the college's main scholarships page.

 

Merit Awards

 

  • Dr. John O. McReynolds Memorial Award in Pre-Medical Studies
  • Liberal Arts Merit Scholarships

For Liberal Arts students with at least 30 hours in residence and a GPA of 3.7 or higher

  • Liberal Arts Competitive Scholarships

For Liberal Arts students with at least 30 hours in residence and a GPA between 3.25 and 3.69
